As a local freelance florist with many years experience I’d love to help you create your perfect day. Previous to becoming a florist, I studied on an art foundation course and then trained as a textile designer; which means that the colours, shapes and textures of the flowers are central to my designs. I moved from Surrey to Bedfordshire 20 years ago with my husband and after having two children trained as a florist at Shuttleworth College.
We are passionate about wedding flowers and here at Flowers by Suzanne we'll work closely with you to create the wedding flower theme that fully complements the style and feel of your church/venue. It is my privilege to work with you to create the wedding flowers that reflect you and your husband-to-be. Whether it is a small intimate wedding or a large wedding, I will work with you closely to create something bespoke that perfectly suits you both and your wedding day.
You might already have some ideas; maybe cuttings from wedding magazines, a mood board or a Pinterest wedding board which is easy to set up and a great place to collate your initial ideas. I can guide you to which flowers are in season and give you a tour of the flower market to view the flowers 'in the flesh'!
I have great knowledge of many local wedding venues so I am able to make informed suggestions about appropriate flower arrangements. Some of the venues we have recently decorated for weddings:
South Farm, Bassmead Manor Barns, The Milling Barn, Kimbolton Castle, Fanhams Hall Hotel, Hitchin Priory, The Woburn Sculpture Gallery, Mansion House at Shuttleworth, Moggerhanger Park, Letchworth Hall Hotel, The Swiss Gardens at Shuttleworth, The Barns Hotel, Auberge Du Lac at Brocket Hall, Offley Place, Wrest Park, Madingley Hall, Eversholt Hall, Moretaine Manor, Luton Hoo Conservatory, Shortmead House, Box End Park, The Rectory Farm, Pendley Manor, The Woburn Hotel, Wyboston Lakes and Sheene Mill.
